How To Use

  1. Measure 800 ml of distilled water in a beaker.
  2. Add 27.36 grams of Orchid Maintenance Media, 30 grams of sugar, and PPM™ (1-2 ml/L) and stir the mixture thoroughly until all components are dissolved.
  3. Add distilled water to bring the total volume to 1000 ml.
  4. Adjust the pH of the solution to a range of 5.4 to 5.8 using a pH meter and appropriate pH adjusters.
  5. Add a gelling agent (6-8 g/L of agar or 3-4 g/L of Gellan Gum) to the solution while stirring continuously.
  6. Autoclave the prepared medium at 121°C and 15 psi for 20 minutes to sterilize.
  7. Allow the medium to cool before pouring it into culture vessels.
  8. Your media is ready! 
  9. Use the prepared medium to replate orchid cultures as required. By following these steps, you ensure that your orchids receive the best possible care and nutrition, promoting healthy growth and vibrant blooms.
